Here's my belly pic at 34w1d. I'm only smiling because I have cheesecake waiting inside for me :-)
Seriously, this is the first time I've smiled all day today. Some days are just harder than others. I have been very uncomfortable all day today and very bored. I can't do much anymore except get from couch to bed to bathroom, and get to the various doctors appointments I have each week. Some days like today, it's even too much to put the bathing suit on and walk to 50' to the community pool. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.
We had an ultrasound today and the babies look great - both breech, but since I'm going c-section it's not a concern. Just 13 days to go - I can't believe it. I wonder if I'll actually make it that far. My belly is super-tight and seriously? it gets bigger BY THE DAY. I will not be surprised if my water breaks sometime next week. It's hard to get out of bed, off the couch, into and out of the car, etc. My belly literally sits on my thighs when I sit now.
But 13 days - I'm very excited, and also very nervous. Kara died just 12 days from her date and I'm in the home stretch now. I just have to stay calm and live within the moment, from hour to hour.
That's my update - now back to my cheesecake.

You might not feel it but you look amazing!! I hear you about the whole thigh - belly ratio. At least your is all in your belly and not equally in your arse region!!!

i cannot believe how fast it has gone - I do remember how slowly it felt when I was where you are - and now I am watching and listening to my babies coo and scream and kick around on the floor - I am so excited for you to meet them.

Hey girl - you could get the pump in style advanced - it has a cigarette lighter adapter!!!! - and a cooler and pump in the car...lots of women do it but it IS overwhelming and a lot to think about - for me, I just cannot give them formula and I just do it. I am so excited for you - 11 days to go!

I see you posted this on Monday. Sorry I didn't get here till now...Wednesday. I hope yesterday was an okay day for you and the babies. I hope the day did not weigh too heavily upon your heart. And now that you have arrived in uncharted waters (11 days to go!), I hope the joy and anticipation begin to and continue to build until the day your babies arrive.
And, might I add....mmmmmm....cheesecake!
