Transfer Day!

I received a call from my RE early this morning ( I love him!). We have 6 'normal' eggs according to the PGD testing.

One is 'absolutely drop-dead gorgeous and should be transferred immediately.'

2 others were beautiful and were either ready for transfer or freezing.

The 3 remaining would be watched carefully over the weekend for growth and would be frozen if/when they were ready.

:::::drumroll please:::::::

We transferred twins - a boy and a girl! YAY!

We have one girl frozen and 3 more possibilities for freezing.

I'm so excited.

I've been laying in bed all day waiting for these little ones to implant.

I feel like I have a new lease on life. I know I still have to get to the LIVE baby part, but reward doesn't come without some risk. I really, really want a family of my own, and in order to achieve that, I have to try to have another baby. I don't think I could survive the death of another baby. I'm terrified. But I'm also hopeful, and that's something for someone who has been living in the dark cave of grief and sorrow for the past 17 months. I feel like I am out in the light, breathing fresh, clean air, feeling the weight lifted off of my shoulders.

1st BETA on Monday November 30th.

I just hope I don't pee on a stick before then.

Sending you TONS of great sticky vibes!!!! I am curious, how do they know it's a boy and a girl? How do they figure that out? That is so cool. I am so happy for you. I have been following your story here and there, I am just horrible at commenting lately! GOOD LUCK!!!
